Kalmar FF turned the tables and defeated Malmö FF 2-1 at home in front of a packed Guldfågeln Arena on Sunday evening. The visitors didn't take long to open the scoring when Jo Inge Berget found the net in the eleventh minute, assisted by Magnus Wolff Eikrem. Kalmar FF immediately tried to equalize but struggled to outsmart Malmö FF's goalkeeper Robin Olsen.

In the 19th minute, Kalmar FF made their first substitution when Papa Alioune Diouf replaced Filip Sachpekidis. After 28 minutes, the home team made another substitution when Ismael Silva Lima came on for Tobias Eriksson. Kalmar FF continued to push forward but had difficulty getting the ball into the net.

Malmö FF was awarded a yellow card for Erik Berg in the 57th minute, but the match continued at a high tempo. In the 72nd minute, Malmö FF made their first substitution when Agon Mehmeti replaced Magnus Wolff Eikrem. Oscar Lewicki received a yellow card in the 85th minute, and Viktor Elm was carded in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute, Kalmar FF's Marcus Gotte received a yellow card, and the match ended 2-1 to the home team. It was a fantastic evening for Kalmar FF and their fans.
