Kalmar FF faced Hammarby in front of a packed Guldfågeln Arena on Thursday evening. The match started with intense play from both teams, and in the 18th minute, Tim Markström received a yellow card for a tough tackle.

In the 29th minute, Kalmar took the lead when Marcus Antonsson scored after a nice assist from Papa Alioune Diouf. Kalmar continued to press on, and in the second half, they increased their lead to 2-0 with a beautiful ball from Jonathan Ring that Antonsson was able to convert for another goal.

Hammarby gained new energy after a substitution at halftime, and with Linus Hallenius on the pitch and a header from Måns Söderqvist, they reduced the score to 2-1 in the 57th minute. Kalmar found themselves in danger when Nenad Djordjevic received a yellow card, but Hammarby could not take advantage of the resulting free kick.

In the 72nd minute, the equalizer came when Hallenius scored from a nice pass by Söderqvist, putting the ball in the net behind Kalmar FF’s goalkeeper. Kalmar tried intensely to regain the lead with several substitutions, but they were unable to do so.

The match ended 2-2, and both teams retained their positions in the standings, with Kalmar in 10th place and Hammarby in 11th. Referee Andreas Ekberg and his assistants Mehmet Culum and Joakim Flink officiated well, keeping both teams in check throughout the match.
