BK Häcken managed to defeat Helsingborgs IF in a dramatic match at Bravida Arena on Sunday evening. 6,049 spectators watched as Robin Simovic gave the visitors the lead in the 21st minute, but Simon Gustafson equalized for the home team just before halftime with an assist from Alexander Jeremejeff.

In the second half, Helsingborg once again took the lead through Guðlaugur Victor Pálsson, assisted by Peter Larsson. However, BK Häcken showed character and managed to equalize again through Jasmin Sudic, set up by Simon Sandberg.

With just under ten minutes left on the clock, Alexander Jeremejeff stepped up and scored the last goal of the match, assisted once again by Simon Gustafson.

It got a bit heated towards the end as Helsingborg tried to catch up and BK Häcken tried to hold them off, but referee Mohammed Al-Hakim managed the match well and blew the final whistle after three minutes of added time.

BK Häcken can thank their consistent performance for the victory, while Helsingborgs IF now has some rethinking to do.
