Kalmar FF hosted Falkenbergs FF at home at Guldfågeln Arena in an Allsvenskan match on Saturday afternoon. Already in the 8th minute, Jonathan Ring scored a beautiful goal following a fine pass from David Elm.
Kalmar continued to dominate, and in the 38th minute, they increased their lead. Marcus Antonsson scored the goal with an assist from Ismael Silva Lima, making it 2-0 for Kalmar. Falkenberg substituted Per Karlsson for Tobias Helldén at halftime, but Kalmar kept controlling the match.
Ismael Silva Lima then made it 3-0 for Kalmar in the 53rd minute, and it was clear that Falkenberg was having a tough day at work. After 65 minutes, Kalmar substituted Jonathan Ring for Tobias Eriksson, and shortly after, Filip Sachpekidis was replaced by Rasmus Elm. In the 76th minute, Tobias Helldén from Falkenberg also received a yellow card, and Kalmar continued to be the better team. Ismael Silva Lima was substituted for Papa Alioune Diouf in the 80th minute, and Marcus Antonsson scored his second goal of the day from a penalty in the 90th minute. In the final moments of the match, Kalmar’s Ludvig Öhman Silwerfeldt and Falkenberg’s Gustaf Nilsson both received yellow cards before the match came to an end. Kalmar won the match 4-0 and celebrated three points in the Allsvenskan table.
