Sundsvall won a convincing victory against a disheartened Hammarby at Idrottsparken last night. The home team dominated the match from start to finish, and the final score of 3-0 reflected their superiority.
Sundsvall started offensively and pressured Hammarby at every opportunity. Hammarby held up well at the beginning but received a warning in the 18th minute when a player tackled a Sundsvall attacker too harshly.
Hammarby attempted to create an attack but struggled to establish any play. In the 41st minute, Hammarby substituted Erik Israelsson for Oliver Silverholt, but it had no effect on the game.
In the second half, Sundsvall continued their dominant play and received a warning in the 49th minute when Lars Christian Krogh Gerson tackled a Hammarby player.
In the 61st minute, Sundsvall scored their first goal when Runar Sigurjonsson found the net after a pass from Shpëtim Hasani. Just a minute later, Daniel Sliper came on for Sebastian Rajalakso, and Hammarby substituted Måns Söderqvist for Imad Khalili.
In the 65th minute, Sundsvall increased their lead to 2-0 when Pa Amat Dibba scored after a setup from Hasani. Sundsvall kept pressing, and even though Hammarby made a few substitutions, they failed to score any points.
Sundsvall continued with their substitutions, and in the 72nd minute, Shpëtim Hasani was replaced by Leo Englund. In the 80th minute, Kennedy Bakircioglu was substituted for Lars Mendonca Fuhre, and Hammarby tried to continue their search for a penalty.
Oliver Silverholt received a warning for Hammarby in the 89th minute, but Sundsvall continued their offensive play nonetheless. Hammarby received two more warnings as Lars Mendonca Fuhre and Oliver Silverholt both received their second cautions in the final minutes.
Sundsvall struck again with a goal in stoppage time. Daniel Sliper found the net after a pass from Pa Amat Dibba to score the final goal of the match. The match ended 3-0 in favor of Sundsvall, and the crowd at Idrottsparken celebrated their first victory in two matches.
