It was an exciting match at Gavlevallen where Gefle IF FF faced IF Elfsborg in the Allsvenskan on Wednesday evening. Initially, Gefle seemed to have full control, scoring two goals in just thirteen minutes. First, Jonas Lantto headed in a rebound after a shot from Jesper Florén, and then Johan Bertilsson found the net after a nice pass from Kwame Bonsu.

But Elfsborg didn't give up, and Viktor Prodell reduced the score to 2-1 after a great pass from Simon Lundevall. After that, there were chances for both teams, but neither managed to score again in the first half.

In the second half, Elfsborg continued to chase an equalizer, and after 76 minutes, they got it. Niklas Gunnarsson headed in a corner, and suddenly the match was tied.

Gefle tried to regain the lead and created several chances, but Elfsborg's defense held firm. Instead, it was Elfsborg that was awarded a penalty in the seventh minute of stoppage time. Marcus Rohdén calmly converted it, and the match was over.

Despite Gefle's efforts, they could not reclaim the lead, and the match finished 3-2 in favor of Elfsborg, who maintains their position at the top of the table while Gefle sits in eighth place.
