IFK Norrköping FK was in top form when they faced GIF Sundsvall at Platinumcars Arena in the Allsvenskan. In front of an enthusiastic home crowd of 9,023, the first breakthrough came in the 38th minute. Christoffer Nyman gave Norrköping an early lead after a pass from Daniel Sjölund.
The second half looked even stronger for Norrköping. Nyman continued to find the back of the net, heading in a ball past a helpless GIF goalkeeper in the 53rd minute. It was an impressive performance from Nyman, who also took a corner that resulted in Emil Kujovic's goal in the 59th minute.
GIF Sundsvall tried to take control and made a few substitutions in a desperate attempt to come back into the match, but it was Norrköping that continued to score. Andreas Johansson headed in a ball from Arnor Traustason in the 61st minute. Alexander Fransson hammered in a header past the GIF goalkeeper after receiving a pass from Kujovic in the 66th minute.
The match seemed decided long before, but GIF Sundsvall's Johan Eklund managed to score a consolation goal for the away team in the 90th minute, assisted by Pa Amat Dibba. The final score was 5-1 in favor of Norrköping, after a well-executed match that demonstrated their strength this season.
