BK Häcken secured an important away victory against Falkenbergs FF on Sunday afternoon. In front of a crowd of 2,737 at Falkenbergs IP A, the match began with a minute of silence for the late Sven Tumba. Referee Mohammed Al-Hakim and his assistants Joakim Flink and Andreas Söderkvist had their hands full from the start, with substitutions and goals occurring in quick succession.

Just thirteen minutes in, BK Häcken made their first substitution as Samuel Gustafson entered the match in place of Ivo Dominik Pekalski. Shortly thereafter, Martin Ericsson stepped up and converted a penalty for BK Häcken, giving the visitors the lead in the match.

BK Häcken tightened up their defense and maintained their lead throughout the match. Falkenbergs FF desperately tried to find an equalizer, but it wasn't enough. The match ended 2-1 in favor of BK Häcken, who took an important away victory.
