In the 74th minute, Halmstads BK also made a change, substituting Antonio Rojas for Sead Haksabanovic. However, despite several attempts from Halmstad to equalize, AIK held firm.

In the 90th minute, the decisive goal came. It was Halmstads BK's defender Tyrell Rusike who unfortunately scored an own goal after a nice setup by AIK's Fredrik Brustad.

AIK's players celebrated after the match while Halmstad chose to focus on their loss and what they could do better in the next match. Overall, it was a well-played match by both teams, but it was AIK who managed to remain the winners.
