The goal-filled match at Kopparvallen began with an early opening goal for Örebro. Astrit Ajdarevic received the ball from Kalle Holmberg and neatly placed it in the net after just 18 minutes. However, Åtvidabergs FF fought back and equalized four minutes later when Simon Skrabb scored after a pass from Kristian Bergström.

Örebro, however, showed their strength and took the lead again in the 32nd minute when Daniel Gustafsson received the ball from Holmberg and made it 2-1. Just before halftime, Örebro increased their lead thanks to a header from Erik Moberg, assisted by Ajdarevic.

In the second half, Åtvidabergs FF fought to get back into the match and created several dangerous chances. A penalty kick in the 73rd minute gave John Owoeri the opportunity to reduce the deficit to 2-3, which he accomplished neatly. But despite several attempts, the home team could not find an equalizer, and the match ended 2-3 in favor of Örebro.

With the victory, Örebro climbed to eighth place in the standings, while Åtvidabergs FF remained at the bottom. The crowd at Kopparvallen witnessed an entertaining match with many goal chances and exciting moments. But in the end, it was Örebro who came out on top and could celebrate the victory after full time.
