Hammarby and Jönköpings Södra IF faced off in an exciting Allsvenskan match at Tele2 Arena in front of an impressive crowd of 24,131 spectators. The referee was Martin Strömbergsson, assisted by Daniel Gustavsson and Joakim Amri Nilsson.
The match started with several cautions in the first half. Arnór Smárason received his first yellow card just sixteen minutes in, followed by Melker Hallberg and Richard Magyar from Hammarby. Robert Gojani and Daryl Smylie from Jönköpings Södra also received yellow cards before the halftime break.
In the second half, several substitutions were made, including Jönköpings Södra substituting their top scorer, Moses Orwohicho Ogbu, for Dzenis Kozica. Kozica was later replaced by Jesper Svensson. Hammarby brought on Romulo Cabral Pereira Pinto for Philip Haglund and Imad Khalili for Alexssander Medeiros De Azeredo. Kennedy Bakircioglu also came on after Arnór Smárason was substituted.
The first goal of the match came just over an hour into play when Tommy Thelin from Jönköpings Södra scored to make it 0-1. Hammarby fought hard to equalize, which they succeeded in with an own goal, just before the final whistle.
The match ended 1-1, and both teams took home a point. It was a hard-fought battle where both teams showed great desire and ambition. A well-played match that provided plenty of action and excitement.
