It was a very close match at Guldfågeln Arena when Kalmar FF hosted Helsingborgs IF. Already after 12 minutes, Kalmar FF took the lead through Marcus Antonsson, who finished nicely after a good pass from Ismael Silva Lima. However, Helsingborgs IF quickly responded and equalized just three minutes later through Darijan Bojanic, who was set up by Martin Christensen.

Kalmar FF did not want to let go of the lead and regained it in the 20th minute with a fine shot from Tobias Eriksson, who scored after a great assist from Carl Johansson. Kalmar FF had control of the match, but Helsingborgs IF would prove to be tough opponents.

In the 36th minute, Carl Johansson nodded in a corner kick from Anton Wede to equalize for Helsingborgs IF. The intensity on the pitch increased, and several yellow cards were issued during the match, including to Carl Johansson and Anton Wede.

In the second half, both teams were eager to go for the win, but it was Helsingborg who came out on top. Linus Hallenius scored the decisive goal in the 64th minute after a nice pass from Lalawele Atakora. Kalmar FF desperately tried to equalize, but Helsingborgs IF held on and secured a much-needed victory.

Kalmar FF is now in 13th place in the table, while Helsingborgs IF advanced to 11th place. Referee Bojan Pandzic maintained a good standard, and it was a well-played match in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Guldfågeln Arena.
