IF Elfsborg then substituted Simon Lundevall for Emir Bajrami in the 77th minute, and Djurgården replaced Mathias Ranégie with Seon Min Moon. They also had a chance for a consolation goal when Jon Jönsson received a warning in the 83rd minute.
The match ended 3-0 in favor of IF Elfsborg, who move up to 12th place in the table, while Djurgården remains in 7th place. A vital victory for IF Elfsborg as they continue to fight to rise in the standings.
