On Sunday evening, BK Häcken and AIK faced off in an exciting match at Bravida Arena. AIK started the match strongly and took the lead after just 24 minutes through Carlos Strandberg, with an assist from Ahmed Yasin. Just a minute later, Ahmed scored himself, extending the margin for the away team with help from a pass by Daniel Sundgren.

Häcken began to come to life and shortly before halftime, they reduced the deficit through Paulo José De Oliveira, who thanked René Makondele Muzola for the assist. During the first half of the second half, several players received yellow cards, including Christos Gravius, Jos Hooiveld, and Jasmin Sudic.

AIK made a substitution in the 59th minute when Denni Avdic replaced Alexander Isak, while BK Häcken took out Alexander Jeremejeff and brought in John Owoeri after 67 minutes. However, it wasn't until the 80th minute that Häcken managed to equalize through Paulo José De Oliveira's second goal of the evening, assisted by Kari Arkivuo.

The match remained open, and both teams created several dangerous chances. But it was AIK that ultimately decided the match with Carlos Strandberg's second goal of the evening, thanks to an assist from Nils-Eric Johansson, just five minutes before full time.

AIK then brought home an important victory, while BK Häcken had to settle for an honorable loss in front of a crowd of 3,514 people. The referee for the evening was Kaspar Sjöberg, with assistant referees Tobias Wärn and Mahbod Beigi.
