It was time for the Stockholm derby at Friends Arena as AIK faced Djurgården in Allsvenskan. With over 26,000 spectators present, the atmosphere was high before the kickoff.

The match started evenly with chances for both sides, but it would take until the 12th minute for Stefan Ishizaki to give AIK the lead. The free-kick variant was executed perfectly, and Djurgården had no answer. AIK continued to dominate the play and created several opportunities to extend their lead until halftime.

In the second half, AIK came out strong, and it would take just six minutes after the break before Haukur Hauksson headed in the ball, increasing the lead to 2-0. The assist came from Stefan Ishizaki, who was thus involved in both goals. Djurgården tried to find their way back into the match and brought in Haris Radetinac to create more offensive pressure.

However, it was AIK that continued to control the match, and the substitutions of Ebenezer Ofori and Amin Affane contributed to stability in midfield. Despite several missed chances from both teams, AIK's lead held up until the end of the match.

AIK therefore secured a convincing 2-0 victory and climbed to fourth place in the table. Djurgården, on the other hand, continues to struggle and sits in 11th place. Stefan Ishizaki's free-kick goal and Haukur Hauksson's header were decisive in a derby where AIK had complete control from start to finish.
