Örebro made a strong impression when they visited Gavlevallen to face Gefle IF FF on Thursday evening. Just six minutes into the match, the visitors took the lead through Kalle Holmberg, who skillfully placed the ball in the net after a nice pass from Astrit Ajdarevic. Gefle tried to respond, but Örebro's defense stood firm and held strong.

After 25 minutes, Gefle's Martin Rauschenberg Brorsen received a yellow card, and just a few minutes later, it was Anders Bååth's turn to get booked. However, neither of the cautions helped the home team, and instead, Örebro extended their lead at the beginning of the second half. Hjörtur Logi Valgardsson scored after a beautiful attack.

Gefle made an offensive change in the 57th minute when Jonas Lantto came on for the exhausted Dioh Williams. Örebro responded with a yellow card for Daniel Nordmark, but he was still involved in Örebro's third goal, which came in the 63rd minute. Astrit Ajdarevic showcased his free-kick skills by putting the ball in the top corner.

Örebro continued to dominate the match, and Gefle struggled to find any solutions going forward. Örebro substituted Martin Broberg for Kalle Holmberg in the 71st minute, while Gefle brought on both Jacob Hjelte and Abdul Basit Adam in an attempt to break Örebro's dominance.

But it was Örebro who had the last word in the match. Maic Sema scored to make it 4-0 after a fine assist from Daniel Björnkvist in the 83rd minute. Örebro kept pressing Gefle, and the match ended 4-0 in favor of Örebro. An impressive victory for the away team that displayed a solid defense and efficiency in attack.
