Hammarby managed to turn around their deficit against Falkenbergs FF after a real nail-biter at Tele2 Arena. Falkenberg looked to be heading towards an easy victory as they led 3-0 after goals from Jesper Karlsson and Rasmus Sjöstedt. Kennedy Bakircioglu reduced the lead just before halftime with a fine free kick, and after the break, the home team pressed harder.
Imad Khalili headed in a goal to narrow the gap after a cross from Philip Haglund, and when Richard Magyar headed in the equalizer shortly after the hour mark, the atmosphere in the arena shifted immediately. Both the home team and the crowd were revitalized, and Hammarby came close to taking the lead. However, Falkenberg had a few hot chances at the end of the match, but both teams had to settle for a point each.
It was a tough and intense match with several hard tackles and quite a few yellow cards. Referee Andreas Ekberg kept control of the match and received assistance from his linesmen, Daniel Ekman and Fredrik Klyver, when needed. The crowd at Tele2 Arena created a wonderful atmosphere, and although neither team won, many likely left the arena satisfied after this match.
