Örebro took the lead when Sebastian Ring scored with an assist from Daniel Gustafsson in the 28th minute, and Maic Sema then extended the lead with a fine goal in the 34th minute. Falkenbergs FF tried to find gaps in Örebro's defense but struggled to create any truly dangerous chances.
In the second half, Örebro continued to dominate, and in the 61st minute, Gustafsson scored the goal that definitively sealed the home team's fate. Falkenbergs FF continued to fight and reduced the deficit in the 66th minute thanks to a header from Zlatan Krizanovic on an assist from Johannes Vall. But it didn't help much, and Örebro was ultimately able to take a very well-deserved victory.
Falkenbergs FF substituted Akseli Pevlas and Kamal Mustafa in the 67th and 79th minutes, but unfortunately, it didn't make much difference. David Svensson received a yellow card in the 82nd minute, but it was too late for Falkenbergs FF to come back.
