AIK won a fast-paced and intense match against Hammarby at Tele2 Arena on Sunday afternoon. AIK got off to a flying start with an early goal from Haukur Hauksson, assisted by Stefan Ishizaki in the eleventh minute. Just six minutes later, Eero Markkanen doubled AIK's lead to 2-0 with a header, thanks to a pass from Patrick Kpozo.
Hammarby tried to press AIK hard, but the team was unable to create enough scoring opportunities. In the 38th minute, AIK extended their lead to 3-0 through Ebenezer Ofori, which dealt a heavy blow to Hammarby.
In the second half, Hammarby tried to fight their way back into the match but without success. Richard Magyar received a yellow card for his tough play, and Hammarby made two substitutions, bringing on David Boo Wiklander and Imad Khalili for Lars Sætra and Alexssander Medeiros De Azeredo, respectively.

AIK now sits at the top of the table while Hammarby continues to struggle to find their form in the Allsvenskan.
