After 23 minutes, Johan Oremo from Gefle received a yellow card, and ten minutes later, Kennedy Bakircioglu scored Hammarby's second goal from a penalty. Andreas Andersson from Gefle also received a yellow card in connection with the goal.
Hammarby continued to play well, and in the second half, they brought in Amadaiya Rennie to further strengthen the team. Gefle tried to find their way back into the match but had difficulty applying any real pressure on Hammarby's defense.
