The third match in the Allsvenskan between Djurgården and IF Elfsborg was played on Sunday at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm. With over 12,500 spectators in the stands, it was an exciting match with a high tempo from start to finish. Referee Mohammed Al-Hakim and his assistants Mikael Hallin and Niclas Ivarsson were present to ensure that the match was conducted fairly.

IF Elfsborg took the lead after 25 minutes of play, thanks to a fine pass from Viktor Prodell that Per Frick was able to convert into a goal. However, Djurgården responded quickly and equalized just four minutes later with the help of Michael Olunga, who received a nice ball from Mathias Ranégie.

A yellow card was issued to Kevin Stuhr Ellegaard from IF Elfsborg just before halftime, which put a damper on his game. The team then substituted Emir Bajrami for Simon Lundevall just before the referee blew for halftime.

IF Elfsborg was able to take the lead again in the second half when Viktor Prodell scored his second goal of the match, this time a header from a nice pass by Adam Lundqvist. But Djurgården fought hard and equalized again through Magnus Eriksson, who received a fine pass from Mathias Ranégie.

Before the match was over, several substitutions were made on both sides. Djurgården substituted Othman El Kabir and Marcus Hansson for Daniel Mikal Aas Berntsen and Omar Colley instead. IF Elfsborg replaced Per Frick with Viktor Götesson. Djurgården also brought on Philana Tinotenda Kadewere for Jesper Karlström, but it did not help to decide the match.

Djurgården received a warning through Elliot Käck just before the match ended, but the game finished 2-2. It was a balanced match with good performances from both teams, but neither was able to claim a victory on home soil.
