Kalmar FF defeated Östersunds FK 2 - 0 at Guldfågeln Arena in a match that lacked much excitement. Henri Anier opened the scoring for the home team with a beautiful header after 40 minutes of play, assisted by Tobias Eriksson. Just one minute later, Ismael Silva Lima extended the lead to 2 - 0 with a well-placed shot that Östersund's goalkeeper Aly Keita had no chance of saving. After the break, both teams created chances but failed to get the ball into the net. Östersund tried to get back into the match with several substitutions but were unable to change the scoreline. Kalmar FF's victory was fully deserved, but the crowd at Guldfågeln Arena may have hoped for a bit more entertainment than what was offered during the 90 minutes.
