Malmö FF tried to come back again, but with strong defending from the home side, they were not given many chances. Instead, it was Djurgården who came close to increasing their lead further.

Before the match ended, both Anders Bleg Christiansen received a yellow card and several substitutions were made on both sides, but the result held firm, and Djurgården secured an impressive 3-1 victory in front of a crowd of 15,370 who cheered loudly.
