IFK Norrköping FK won a tough away match against Helsingborgs IF with a score of 2-1 at Olympia in the Allsvenskan on Sunday afternoon. The match looked set to be a hard-fought battle right from the start when Jesper Lange of the home team received a yellow card just two minutes into the game. This would prove to be a foreshadowing for the Helsingborg players, who had a difficult day on the pitch.

IFK Norrköping FK took the lead in the 14th minute when Sebastian Andersson neatly placed the ball in the net after a nice pass from Tesfaldet Tekie. Norrköping continued to create chances but missed several opportunities to extend their lead.

In the second half, Norrköping continued to dominate and was able to increase their lead in the 49th minute with a beautiful goal by Niclas Eliasson, who was this time assisted by Nicklas Bärkroth.

Helsingborg began to apply pressure and earned a penalty in the 60th minute, which Anton Wede confidently converted into a goal. However, despite several attempts, they were unable to equalize, and instead, they received multiple yellow cards and a red card for Tyrell Rusike after two yellow cards. Norrköping managed to hold on and secure the three important points.

With this victory, IFK Norrköping FK temporarily takes the lead in the Allsvenskan, three points ahead of AIK. Helsingborgs IF remains in ninth place in the table.
