IF Elfsborg smashed Falkenbergs FF 5-0 at Borås Arena on Sunday afternoon in front of 6,261 spectators. Already after six minutes of play, Elfsborg created a penalty situation which Viktor Claesson confidently converted into a goal, giving the home team an early lead. Falkenberg's defense struggled to handle Elfsborg's offense, and after 51 minutes, Daniel Gustafsson increased the lead to 2-0 with a well-placed shot. Viktor Prodell then added two points to his account, first with a nice assist from Claesson after 60 minutes and then with a goal of his own 11 minutes later. Issam Jebali and Simon Lundevall also contributed to the home team's goal fest by scoring one goal each in the 74th and 77th minutes. After this, Elfsborg continued to dominate and fended off Falkenberg's attempts to reduce the score in the remaining minutes. This was an easy victory for Elfsborg, who appear to be in great form heading into the rest of the season.
