Kalmar FF achieved a convincing 3-0 victory against Falkenbergs FF on Wednesday evening at Guldfågeln Arena. Already in the 5th minute, Jonathan Ring put the home team in the lead with a well-placed shot into the right corner. After half an hour of play, Kalmar had several good chances to increase their lead, but Falkenberg's defense held firm.

Just before halftime, however, Ring scored his second goal of the evening with a beautiful volley that sailed over Falkenberg's goalkeeper. Kalmar continued to dominate in the second half, and Herman Hallberg was able to score Kalmar FF's third goal in the 66th minute.

Falkenbergs FF tried to regroup and brought in Hakeem Araba to create chances, but Kalmar FF remained solid defensively and did not concede any goals. In the 77th minute, Rasmus Sjöstedt received a yellow card for Falkenbergs FF after tackling a Kalmar player.
