On Sunday afternoon, IF Elfsborg and AIK faced off at Borås Arena in front of a crowd of 8,045 spectators. Referee Mohammed Al-Hakim, along with assistant referees Magnus Sjöblom and Daniel Ekman, officiated the match, which turned out to be an exciting encounter.

AIK started the match with finesse and struck with two quick goals, both scored by the seven-man Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi. Stefan Ishizaki provided the assist for the first goal in the 30th minute, and just two minutes later, AIK celebrated again as Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi found the net for the second time.

However, IF Elfsborg did not give up, and just a minute later, Viktor Prodell managed to score, reducing the deficit to 1-2. The assist came from Issam Jebali.

Before the second half began, there were some player substitutions. AIK wanted to maintain their lead and substituted Stefan Ishizaki for Amin Affane. IF Elfsborg replaced Simon Olsson, giving Per Frick the chance to make an impact.

IF Elfsborg came out stronger in the second half and managed to equalize in the 75th minute when Per Frick scored his first goal of the match. Adam Lundqvist provided the assist for this goal.

AIK's Nils-Eric Johansson received a yellow card in the 77th minute. IF Elfsborg continued to press against AIK's defense, and after Lars Nilsson came onto the field in place of Viktor Prodell, they came close to taking the lead. However, there were no further goals in the match, which ended in a draw (2-2).

IF Elfsborg's Per Frick managed to equalize for Elfsborg with a fine goal following a great assist from Adam Lundqvist. IF Elfsborg had chances to take the lead after the equalizer, but no more goals were scored. AIK's Nils-Eric Johansson then received a yellow card in the 77th minute. IF Elfsborg finished the match with two yellow cards as Henning Hauger and Per Frick each received one.
