Malmö FF hosted Helsingborgs IF at home in a heated match at Swedbank Stadion. With a crowd of nearly 20,000, the atmosphere was electric when referee Martin Strömbergsson blew the whistle to start the match.

The game began with a high tempo from both teams, and it didn't take long before Malmö FF took the lead. In the 22nd minute, Anders Bleg Christiansen received the ball in front of the goal and sent it past the Helsingborg goalkeeper. Jo Inge Berget provided the assist, and the home crowd erupted in celebration.

After Malmö's opening goal, Helsingborgs IF tried to apply pressure and create dangerous opportunities. However, Malmö's defense was solid, and Victor Yoshimar Yotun Flores held firm in midfield.

In the 37th minute, Yotun Flores received a yellow card from the referee, prompting Malmö FF's coach to make substitutions. Markus Rosenberg was substituted for Erdal Rakip, and just before halftime, Rasmus Bengtsson was rested as Mattias Svanberg came on.

The second half began with several substitutions from Helsingborgs IF's coach. Jordan Larsson and Tyrell Rusike entered the match, making for a very lively second half.

However, Malmö FF maintained control of the game and created several chances in front of the goal. In the 71st minute, Helsingborgs IF's Amethyst Bradley Ralani received a yellow card, shortly followed by Lalawele Atakora.

The match was ultimately decided in the 90th minute when Malmö FF scored their second goal. Mattias Svanberg put the ball in the net after a fine pass from Yotun Flores, allowing Malmö FF to win the match 2-0 in front of a delighted home crowd.
