Malmö FF secured an important away victory against BK Häcken at Bravida Arena in Allsvenskan. The match started with Malmö FF's Oscar Lewicki receiving an early warning for a tough tackle. However, it was the away team that would score the first goal. Enock Kofi Adu received a fine pass from Victor Yoshimar Yotun Flores and calmly placed the ball behind the Häcken goalkeeper.
BK Häcken, however, would not let Malmö FF take control so easily. John Owoeri headed in a ball in the 15th minute after a nice corner from Baba Mensah. And just four minutes later, it was Häcken's turn again. Alexander Farnerud stepped up and received the ball from Mensah's feet before striking and challenging Malmö FF's goalkeeper Johan Sellberg-Wiland.
Malmö FF, however, would not give up and equalized again through Jo Inge Berget after a fine pass from Alexander Jeremejeff. But in the second half, the match took an unexpected turn when Rasmus Schüller of BK Häcken received two yellow cards within five minutes and was sent off.
This would prove decisive for the match. Alexander Jeremejeff struck again and scored his second goal of the day after a fine pass from Anton Tinnerholm. Malmö FF kept Häcken at bay the entire time, and Tobias Sana sealed the match by making it 4-2 in the 83rd minute after a fine pass from Jo Inge Berget.
Häcken desperately tried to get back into the game, but it was too late. Malmö FF could finally celebrate an important away victory. Glenn Nyberg kept a close eye on the match and issued several warnings, including to Kari Arnason and Tobias Sana, as well as Johan Sellberg-Wiland for a delayed goal kick. The attendance of 4,752 was treated to an entertaining match with many goals and hard-fought duels.
