On Sunday afternoon, an exciting match was played at Gavlevallen between Gefle IF FF and IF Elfsborg in the Allsvenskan. In front of 2,582 eager spectators, it was Gefle IF FF that took the lead after 12 minutes of play, when Dioh Williams scored after a nice pass from Johan Bertilsson. But IF Elfsborg responded quickly, equalizing just seven minutes later through Per Frick.

Elfsborg kept up the pressure and took the lead after 26 minutes thanks to Issam Jebali, who netted the ball after another fine pass. After that, Gefle IF FF tried to get back into the match. Some substitutions were made, and Johan Oremo was brought in to try to make a difference.

Unfortunately for Gefle IF FF, Anton Lans was sent off after a violent tackle in the 76th minute. IF Elfsborg received a warning after 82 minutes, and after that, Gefle IF FF made some substitutions in an attempt to score a second goal to regain points.

At the end of the second half, Emir Bajrami received a warning, and in stoppage time, Johan Oremo managed to equalize the match with a crucial goal.
