Hammarby achieved an impressive victory when they faced Djurgården in Monday night's Allsvenskan match at Tele2 Arena. Despite an early lead for Djurgården, who scored just three minutes into the game through Kevin Walker, Hammarby managed to get back into the match.
Djurgården's Mathias Ranégie made it 2-0 after 32 minutes, but just two minutes later, Hammarby's Romulo Cabral Pereira Pinto reduced the deficit after a fine assist from Erik Israelsson. Before halftime, Hammarby had also equalized through Arnór Smárason, assisted by Kennedy Bakircioglu.
In the second half, it was Hammarby's turn to take command, and after 54 minutes, Pereira Pinto scored his second goal of the evening. He wasn't satisfied with that and also netted his third goal of the match after a nice pass from Alexssander Medeiros De Azeredo.
The match eventually ended 4-2 in favor of Hammarby, who now sit in eighth place in the table, while Djurgården is in tenth place. An impressive victory for Hammarby in front of a crowd of 28,493 spectators at Tele2 Arena.
