It was a very eventful match at Gamla Ullevi as IFK Göteborg faced Gefle IF FF in Allsvenskan on Monday evening.

In the very first minute, IFK Göteborg found themselves in trouble when their coach Jörgen Lennartsson was sent off from the bench. And it would soon get even worse when Gefle IF FF took the lead after 8 minutes through Simon Skrabb, assisted by Johan Bertilsson.

However, IFK Göteborg continued to fight and managed to equalize just before halftime when Emil Salomonsson put the ball in the net after a nice pass from Martin Smedberg Dalence.

The second half started favorably for the home team when Søren Rieks scored the 2-1 goal in the 53rd minute, assisted by Elías Már Ómarsson. But Gefle IF FF responded quickly and earned a penalty through Martin Rauschenberg Brorsen in the 70th minute.

However, it didn’t end there, as just a few minutes later IFK Göteborg's Tom Pettersson was sent off, and the home team had to play with one man down. But that did not stop them from taking the lead again in the 81st minute when Jakob Svarrer Ankersen headed the ball in, assisted by Rieks.

Gefle IF FF did not give up and were eventually able to equalize again in the third minute of stoppage time through Joshua Nadeau, assisted by Simon Skrabb.

The match ended 3-3, and despite IFK Göteborg needing a victory to increase their chances of higher placements in the table, it was still a really entertaining match for the 8,144 spectators present. Gefle IF FF also earned an important point in their fight to avoid relegation.
