Helsingborgs IF won the Sunday match against Jönköpings Södra IF with a score of 2 - 0 at Olympia in front of a crowd of 8,085 spectators. Helsingborg took the lead just seven minutes into the game through Frederik Hellstrup Jensen, with an assist from Jordan Larsson. The rest of the first half was played mostly in the midfield with few significant threats from either team.

The second half opened with a substitution from Jönköpings Södra, as Jesper Svensson came on to replace André Calisir. But just three minutes later, it was Jönköpings Södra who had a player sent off when Alejandro Fernandez Portillo received a red card for a violent tackle.

Helsingborg continued to apply pressure and earned several dangerous free kicks, with Larsson receiving a yellow card in the 65th minute. Jönköpings' Fendrich also received a yellow card in the 71st minute due to a rough tackle.

With ten minutes left in the match, Helsingborg made a remarkable effort to extend their lead. First, Hellstrup Jensen received a yellow card, but just a few minutes later he scored his second goal of the day, this time with an assist from Adam Eriksson. Jönköpings received two yellow cards; the first to Gojani and the second to Cibicki.

Helsingborg also made two substitutions towards the end, with Tyrell Rusike coming on for Larsson in the 88th minute and Alexander Achinioti Jönsson replacing Monday Samuel in the 91st. Rusike also received a yellow card in the final minutes of the match.

With the victory, Helsingborg moved up to 14th place in the Allsvenskan for the season, while Jönköpings Södra finished in 12th place.
