On a Sunday afternoon at Jämtkraft Arena, Östersunds FK faced Gefle IF FF. With only one match left to play for the season, both teams were determined to end with a victory.

Gefle IF FF showed from the very start that they meant business, and just seven minutes in, Jonas Lantto scored the first goal of the match. Only three minutes later, Johan Oremo doubled the lead to 2-0, putting pressure on the home team to make a comeback.

Östersunds FK quickly reduced the deficit in the 19th minute when Alex Dyer headed in a ball from Ken Sema. After halftime, the home team continued to push for an equalizer, but it was Gefle who picked up the pace, and in the 63rd minute, Johan Bertilsson scored a fantastic goal with an assist from Simon Skrabb.

Just six minutes later, Oremo scored his second goal of the match with an assist from Dioh Williams, giving Gefle a comfortable 4-1 lead. The home team desperately tried to come back and brought on attacking players Hosam Aiesh and Andrew Michael Stadler, but it was too late.

Östersund scored a consolation goal in the 92nd minute through Saman Ghoddos with an assist from Stadler, but it wasn't enough, and the match ended 4-2 in favor of Gefle IF FF. The visitors left Jämtland with three important points and finished the season on the right side of the relegation line, while Östersunds FK ended the season in eighth place.
