AIK won a tough and well-played match against IF Elfsborg at Borås Arena with a score of 1-2. AIK dominated the early part of the match and created chances on the flanks, but it was the home team that received the first yellow card after six minutes when Alex Dyer made a tough tackle.

AIK took the lead in the 26th minute when Henok Goitom scored following a weak clearance from Elfsborg's defense. The home team quickly equalized through Per Frick after a nice pass from Simon Lundevall.

The match continued at a high intensity throughout, with hard physical play from both teams. IF Elfsborg received another yellow card before halftime after a tough aerial duel involving Jon Jönsson.

AIK regained the lead at the beginning of the second half when Jesper Nyholm scored after a nice ball from Henok Goitom. Elfsborg continued to apply pressure and created some chances, but the AIK defense held firm and ultimately managed to win the match.

Both teams made several substitutions during the match, but it was AIK who had the final word by bringing on Denni Avdic in place of Henok Goitom. After four minutes of stoppage time, the referee blew the final whistle, ending the match with a score of 1-2 in favor of AIK.
