Malmö FF welcomed Djurgården to Swedbank Stadion in front of an audience of 19,074 on Monday evening. The match was officiated by referee Jonas Eriksson, assisted by Mathias Klasenius and Daniel Wärnmark.
Malmö FF started strong, and in the 31st minute, they took the lead with a goal from Anton Tinnerholm, assisted by Victor Yoshimar Yotun Flores. Shortly after, Tinnerholm received a yellow card, just like Djurgården's Othman El Kabir. In the 45th minute, Malmö FF's Lasse Ladegaard Nielsen also received a yellow card.
