On Saturday afternoon, an exciting match was played between AIK and Örebro at Friends Arena in front of a crowd of 13,236 spectators. The referee, Kaspar Sjöberg, was assisted by linesmen Robin Wilde and Niklas Nyberg.
Only eight minutes in, Örebro made their first substitution as Michael Junior Omoh came on for Ferhad Ayaz. However, it was AIK who would be the first to find the net. In the 18th minute, a free kick from Stefan Ishizaki was perfectly executed, allowing AIK to go into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
Eero Markkanen from AIK received a yellow card in the 20th minute, and a few minutes later, Brendan Hines-Ike from Örebro also received a yellow card.

Örebro made their final substitution in the 82nd minute, with Divine Yelsarmba Naah coming on for Maic Sema. But it was AIK's Daniel Sundgren who picked up a yellow card in the 82nd minute, and AIK received another yellow when Stipe Vrdoljak was cautioned in the 87th minute.
The match ended with a victory for AIK as the final whistle blew after an evenly contested game. Despite several yellow cards and substitutions, AIK managed to hold on and win 1-0.
