Kalmar FF desperately tried to get back into the match and reduced the deficit with a free-kick goal by Romario Pereira Sipiao in the 74th minute. However, it was not enough to earn a point. Kalmar FF received two late yellow cards for outfield players, and Östersund played out the match with solid defending.
