AIK faced Östersund at Friends Arena in the Allsvenskan match on Sunday, and it turned out to be a really exciting game. Östersund was the team that opened the scoring after 22 minutes when Gabriel Somi scored to make it 0-1 for the away team after an assist from Saman Ghoddos.

However, AIK wanted to come back, and just before halftime, Henok Goitom equalized to 1-1 after a fine assist from Daniel Sundgren. After the break, it was Östersund's turn to take the lead again when Gabriel Somi scored his second goal of the day in the 57th minute.

AIK brought on Eero Markkanen and Anton Salétros and continued to press to get back into the match. This turned out to be a smart move by the coach, as Denni Avdic, who was subbed in later, managed to equalize to 2-2 in the 87th minute after a great pass from Kristoffer Olsson.

The match ended 2-2 in front of 15,121 spectators, and both teams earned one point each. Despite Östersund leading twice in the match, it was AIK that had the last word, equalizing in the final minutes. Stefan Johannesson was the main referee, assisted by Magnus Sjöblom and Andreas Söderkvist.
