Djurgården faced Kalmar FF at Tele2 Arena in the Allsvenskan, in front of an audience of 11,730 people on Monday evening. Referee Kristoffer Karlsson officiated the match, with Daniel Gustavsson and Jan-Erik Swärdh as assistant referees.

The match started evenly, with both teams having chances to take the lead. In the 30th minute, Viktor Elm received a yellow card for Kalmar FF. Seven minutes later, the first goal came when Magnus Eriksson scored for Djurgården with an assist from Jacob Larsson.

Kalmar FF fought hard to equalize, and in the 49th minute, Romario Pereira Sipiao scored from a penalty to make it 1-1. However, Djurgården regained the lead in the 63rd minute when Othman El Kabir scored with an assist from Kerim Mrabti.

Djurgården continued to dominate, and in the 72nd minute, Magnus Eriksson scored his second goal of the day, again assisted by El Kabir. Kalmar FF tried to stage a comeback, but Djurgården proved too strong, and in the 84th minute, Gustav Engvall scored another goal, once again assisted by Mrabti. Djurgården won the match 4-1.

In the closing stages of the match, Djurgården made several substitutions, including Radetinac for Eriksson and Marcus Hansson for Engvall. Djurgården also received a yellow card when Mrabti was cautioned in the 90th minute. Kalmar FF substituted Filip Sachpekidis for Måns Söderqvist and David Elm for Marko Biskupovic in the 72nd minute, and Anton Maikkula for Papa Alioune Diouf in the 82nd minute.

Djurgården was the stronger team and won deservedly with both defensive and offensive play. Both teams played openly, but Djurgården was more effective. It was an entertaining match with many fine performances, and Djurgården's victory was well earned.
