AIK won a tough match against Kalmar FF with a score of 0-1 away on Sunday. The start of the match was evenly matched, but in the 16th minute, Per Karlsson received a warning for AIK. Shortly thereafter, Mahmoud Eid received a warning for Kalmar FF. It was a very physical beginning to the match.

In the 64th minute, AIK made their first substitution, with Simon Thern coming on to replace Kristoffer Olsson in an attempt to boost the midfield. However, it was not until the 67th minute that something truly dramatic happened on the field. AIK's Henok Goitom headed in a pass from Eero Markkanen and put the ball in the net, making it 0-1 for AIK!

Kalmar FF tried to respond quickly to the goal, but to no avail. Instead, Filip Sachpekidis received a warning in the 65th minute. Kalmar FF made two substitutions; Adrian Edqvist came on for Filip Sachpekidis in the 75th minute, and Marcus Thorbjörnsson was replaced by Anton Maikkula in the 82nd minute.

Denni Avdic entered the game in the 84th minute to replace Eero Markkanen in an effort to secure AIK's lead. Kalmar FF made their final substitution when Isak Magnusson came on for Melker Hallberg in the 88th minute.

The match became very exciting towards the end, but AIK held on to win the game 0-1 thanks to Henok Goitom's goal. Referee Magnus Lindgren did a great job and kept the match under control. The attendance was impressive, with a total of 10,318 spectators present at Guldfågeln Arena in Kalmar.
