On Monday evening, Djurgården and GIF Sundsvall met at Tele2 Arena in front of over 12,000 spectators. The referee for the match was Jonas Eriksson, who led the game together with assistant referees Mathias Klasenius and Daniel Wärnmark.
Fairly early in the match, Djurgården's Kevin Walker received a yellow card. Shortly thereafter, GIF Sundsvall's Marcus Danielson also received a yellow card and later got a second yellow card, which resulted in a red card.
