On Sunday evening, AIK and Kalmar FF faced off at the National Arena, Friends Arena, in front of an audience of 14,337. The referee was Mohammed Al-Hakim, assisted by Peter Allheim and Fredrik Klyver.

Both teams played aggressively against each other, and it didn't take long before yellow cards were issued. First, it was Kalmar FF's Jonathan Ring who received a warning in the 29th minute. Shortly thereafter, Emin Nouri from Kalmar FF also received a yellow card.
