Swedbank Stadion was filled to capacity when Malmö FF faced Kalmar FF in an Allsvenskan match on Friday evening. Malmö FF led the table heading into the match and faced high expectations from their fans. However, Kalmar FF, sitting in 13th place in the standings, was determined to give them a challenge.

The match got off to a fast start with a penalty goal by Jo Inge Berget in the 23rd minute, giving Malmö FF an early lead. Kalmar FF received a warning just a minute later when Marko Biskupovic picked up a yellow card. Alexander Jeremejeff scored Malmö FF's second goal in the 24th minute, assisted by a nice pass from Erdal Rakip. Kalmar FF continued to fight, but Romario Pereira Sipiao received two warnings and was sent off in the 28th minute.

Malmö FF led at halftime 2-0. In the 55th minute, Malmö FF was awarded a penalty, which Pawel Cibicki converted to make it 3-0. Just four minutes later, Erdal Rakip scored the fourth goal for Malmö FF with an assist from Pawel Cibicki.

Kalmar FF made three substitutions in the 71st minute, but it didn’t help much. In the 76th minute, Kingsley Kofi Sarfo scored the fifth goal for Malmö FF with an assist from Mattias Svanberg. Malmö FF continued to keep Kalmar FF at bay, and Anders Bleg Christiansen scored the sixth and final goal for Malmö FF in the 81st minute, assisted by Alexander Jeremejeff.

Andreas Aalen Vindheim received a yellow card in the 86th minute, but it was too late for Kalmar FF, who lost the match with a heavy scoreline of 6-0. Malmö FF did most things right in the match and demonstrated that they were the stronger team. Malmö FF maintained their lead in the table, while Kalmar FF still felt the struggle to move up from the lower part of the standings.
