Malmö FF won an exciting match 2-1 away against IF Elfsborg at Borås Arena. Just two minutes into the game, Malmö FF took the lead through Mattias Svanberg after a quick attack. However, IF Elfsborg fought their way back into the match and managed to equalize to 1-1 after 17 minutes with a header from Viktor Prodell, who scored from a nice pass by Simon Lundevall. Malmö FF was not satisfied with the draw, and Arnor Traustason made it 2-1 for the away team after a great pass from Markus Rosenberg in the 24th minute.

IF Elfsborg continued to fight and created several chances, but they failed to get the ball past Malmö FF's goalkeeper. Instead, they received three yellow cards and a red card from referee Bojan Pandzic. Stefan Ishizaki received a second yellow card and was forced to leave the field in the 81st minute. Malmö FF also received a yellow card, but they were able to hold on and take three points back home to Malmö.
