Kalmar FF surprised Malmö FF at home in a match that ended 3-0 in favor of the home team. The match began with a high tempo, and both teams created opportunities going forward. However, it was Kalmar who scored the first goal when Måns Söderqvist found the net in the 25th minute.
Malmö tried to make a comeback but struggled when Benjamin Rosen was sent off in the 28th minute. Kalmar took advantage of the situation, and Viktor Elm made it 2-0 in the 33rd minute, assisted by Romario Pereira Sipiao.
Kalmar continued to control the match, and just before halftime, Hiago de Oliveira Ramiro scored to make it 3-0, with another assist from Söderqvist. A nice finish that gave Kalmar a comfortable lead.
The second half began with more yellow cards for Malmö as Alexander Jeremejeff and Oscar Lewicki received cautions. Malmö brought in Carlos Strandberg and Egzon Binaku, but Kalmar still maintained good control of the match.
Kalmar substituted Söderqvist, while Malmö replaced Arnor Traustason with Samuel Adrian. Kalmar received a yellow card when Romario Pereira Sipiao was cautioned in the 61st minute.
Kalmar made several substitutions later in the match, with Mikael Dyrestam coming on for Melker Hallberg in the 90th minute. Adam Hellborg also replaced Adrian Edqvist in the 90th minute.
The match ended 3-0 in favor of Kalmar, marking their first victory in Allsvenskan for the season. Malmö will head back to the drawing board in hopes of improving their play ahead of the next match.
