Malmö FF faced Djurgården on Thursday evening at Eleda Stadion in front of an audience of 15,728 spectators. The referee Andreas Ekberg officiated, with Mehmet Culum and Stefan Hallberg as his assistant referees.

The match kicked off, and Djurgården was the team that started very aggressively, creating a lot of pressure on Malmö FF's defense. However, in the 20th minute, one of their players, Jonas Olsson, was correctly shown a yellow card after a heavy tackle.

Malmö FF then began to be more involved in the match, and in the 45th minute, they made their first substitution as Arnor Traustason came on for Søren Rieks.

The match concluded with two incidents in the 90+3 minute. First, Djurgården's Jonas Olsson received a second yellow card and was sent off. Following that, referee Andreas Ekberg called the match to a close, with Malmö FF winning 1-0 after an exciting match that could have gone either way.
