After eight minutes, BK Häcken took the lead with a penalty that Paulo José De Oliveira confidently converted. Following that, the guests continued to dominate the match, and after 31 minutes, Paulo José De Oliveira increased the lead after a nice combination play with Alhassan A Haestad Kamara. Trelleborg's Anton Tideman received a yellow card for a reckless tackle in the 35th minute. Just before halftime, Alhassan A Haestad Kamara from BK Häcken also received a yellow card.
In the second half, the match became quite uneventful as Trelleborg tried to create some form of offense while BK Häcken looked for more goals.
