Hammarby secured an important 1-0 victory at home at Tele2 Arena against Trelleborgs FF in a match with a high tempo and many chances on both sides. The match started evenly, and it wasn't until the 34th minute that the first yellow card was issued, to Trelleborg's Felix Hörberg.
In the 45th minute, Trelleborg made their first substitution, with Magnus Andersson replacing Jasmin Sudic. The first half ended with an unusually long stoppage time of 16 minutes due to an injury to one of Trelleborg's players.
In the second half, both teams continued to create chances, and it was ultimately Hammarby who scored the decisive goal in the 60th minute. Muamer Tankovic found the back of the net after a fine pass from team captain Jeppe Andersen.

In the final stages of the match, Hammarby's Junes Barny was also substituted in the 85th minute, with Kennedy Bakircioglu coming on, but there were no more goals scored. Hammarby won the match 1-0, earning three crucial points for the Stockholm team in the battle for a spot at the top of the Allsvenskan table.
