Dalkurd kicked off the match with a considerable distance from the bottom of the table, and it was clear in their play that they wanted to stay away from that position. It took only 27 minutes before they struck for the first time. In a quick counterattack, they played the ball to Eero Markkanen, who slotted it into the far corner, giving Dalkurd a 1-0 lead.
The second half started, and it took just two minutes for Dalkurd to score their second goal. Ahmed Awad produced a beautiful curling shot just outside the penalty area, and the ball went straight into the net, marking his second goal of the match and giving Dalkurd a two-goal advantage.
Dalkurd continued to apply pressure, and it took only three more minutes before they scored their third goal. Robin Tranberg passed the ball to Ahmed Awad, who made a nice turn before shooting the ball into the goal.
Sirius then brought in two new players in an attempt to address the three-goal deficit, and it paid off in the 81st minute when Philip Haglund scored for the home team. He made a nice spin before shooting the ball into the far corner, reducing the score to 1-3.
Then followed two intense minutes where Dalkurd made their fourth substitution of the match, and Sirius scored their second goal. Charbel Georges received the ball in the penalty area and volleyed it into the net, assisted by Ian Sirelius.
Sirius continued to push, but it was too late for them to recover Dalkurd's lead. The match ended with a score of 2-3 in favor of Dalkurd, who thus secured three much-needed points.
